IREB Platinum Partner 2023: COViS certified again

COViS continues to have reason to celebrate: Thanks to the successfully completed IREB training, we are also an official IREB Platinum Partner in 2023 - one of eleven.

COViS shines with platinum status in 2023

COViS specialists also achieved IREB's highest award for 2023 in the Delivery business area. This includes: Elicit, verify and validate requirements, document appropriately and manage a product throughout its lifecycle. Seven COViS employees also received the AL (Advanced Level) certificate. This provides for the deepening of basic knowledge in the disciplines of requirements management and/or requirements elicitation.

IREB: Professional certification at the highest level

The non-profit organisation "International Requirements Engineering Board" (IREB) was founded in 2006. It is now a globally recognised expert body for the certification of professionals in the field of requirements engineering (RE). Its members are independent and internationally recognised specialists from industry, consulting, research and teaching.

The aim of the organisation is to build RE - the definition, documentation and maintenance of requirements in the design process - on a professional foundation and thus strengthen the field. The certification concept "Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering" (CPRE), which appeals to specialists from all over the world, serves this purpose.

Certified Professionals for Requirements Engineering

The certification concept is aimed at people who work in the field of business analysis, requirements engineering or testing and who have high expectations of the quality of their work. In order to obtain a certificate for each of the three levels, which build on each other, three levels of training must be completed. Depending on how many employees successfully complete these (and also with which degree), the respective companies receive seals of approval with the qualifications silver, gold or platinum. More information on the IREB partner programme can be found here.

IREB Platinum Partner: The advantages for our customers

IREB creates the basis for professional project and service development: Thanks to transparent communication, clear requirements and a focus that corresponds to the client are created.

Requirements Engineering at COViS

Experience in agile projects have shown that it is important for both consultants and developers to have solid knowledge in requirements engineering. Only in this way is it possible to create a stable basis for projects. Therefore, COViS GmbH has decided to train its employees in the area of delivery (consulting and development) in RE. The IREB certification ensures that this discipline is mastered at the highest level of quality. The skills according to IREB requirements include determining, analysing, specifying and validating all relevant properties and framework conditions of the software system.

CPRE award in COViS system development

At COViS we are experts in asking the right questions, interpreting different interests and bringing them together systematically. At the end of the analysis, we lay the foundation for the custom-fit development of the IT systems together with our customers. With our first-class and qualified requirements engineering, we have a direct influence on project costs and duration.

The clearer the requirements, the faster and more efficiently they can be implemented. Especially in agile projects, this can happen in advance, but also during development. Therefore, CPRE certification is very important to us in the area of delivery and ensures the quality of the product's results. In this way, we can offer our customers an even better basis for the planning, development and testing of the products.

We are proud to demonstrate such a high level of training and to continue to be a Platinum Partner of the International Requirements Engineering Board!
